How to crush Kummler with a chandelier in Sniper Elite 5

Mission 2 of Sniper Elite 5 tasks you to break into a large chateau to find information, but one of the optional challenges requires you to kill a target in a truly fancy fashion. The Kill List target must be killed by a chandelier. Here's how to pull this off.

There are a couple ways to complete the Mission 2 Kill Challenge without too much hassle. Like most Kill List targets, Kummler is surrounded by guards, so sneaking into a spot to kill him without alerting anyone is the real challenge. There are two locations where you can effectively pull off the Mission 2 Kill Challenge. Here's how to reach them.

How to find Kummler in the Ballroom

Kummler is located in the ballroom on the first floor of the chateau. Depending on where you are approaching the chateau from, you can either enter the ballroom on the first floor or second floor. If approaching the chateau from the front entrance, the easiest way to get to the ballroom is to enter the chateau courtyard and enter the tower located in the Southeast corner. Walk up the stairs to the second floor, and there will be a balcony on your right. You can sabotage the chandelier by interacting with the lever on the wall on the left side of the balcony.

If you are approaching the chateau from the back entrance, make your way through the garden and enter the chateau from the back courtyard. The door will take you straight to the first floor of the ballroom, where you can shoot the chandelier chain.

How to crush Kummler with the Chandelier

You must first make sure that Kummler is standing below the chandelier before dropping it. Identify Kummler, then lure him under the Chandelier by throwing a bottle, or simply wait for him to move under the chandelier. If you are unable to lure him under, you can also knock him unconscious, carry him under the chandelier, then drop it on him.

Mission 2 Kill Challenge Reward

Completing the Mission 2 Kill Challenge will reward you with the Karabiner 98, a hard-hitting sniper rifle with a slow fire rate and a 6x scope. You will also receive one mission star for eliminating the kill target.
