A common problem faced by almost every driver in Star Trucker is that their batteries run out of charge, especially with the gravity device. So, if you are new to the game and need to learn how to recharge your batteries, here is a guide explaining everything regarding batteries and how they function in the game.

To answer the burning question, you cannot recharge your battery in Star Trucker at any time. Any dead battery is useless and cannot be reacharged using any instrument or medium in the game. The only thing you can do is recycle your Power Cells for a few bucks by depositing them back in the shop. Still, you can follow the given tips and tricks to manage and use batteries much more efficiently than before.

  • The most common way to lower the consumption of a battery is to buy a lot of battery boxes and swap the cells before they turn entirely dry. Then, you can sell these in sectors with a +20% increase in energy prices and take at least 30% of your money back.
  • Lowering the difficulty of your game will automatically reduce the consumption of batteries in the game. Also, you can start a custom game and reduce the percentage of battery consumption all the way down to your desired range.
  • Sometimes, you can find batteries among the scrap parts in the Salvage. So, spend time salvaging to get some batteries. Even if you don't get batteries, you can always get some valuable goodies like canisters, painkillers, and more.
