Star Wars Hunters – Tips and Tricks

Here's how to become an expert player.

Star Wars Hunters is a vibrant and engaging 4v4 game that challenges players to take down another team of Hunters. Getting started in this world and feeling like a good member of your team can seem hard, but it's quite simple if you keep a level head and know your strategy.

Best tips for beginners of Star Wars Hunters

  • Consider the class you have chosen and play accordingly. Hunters in the game are broken up into three classes: damage, support, and tank. Make sure you choose a damage character if you are planning on being in on the action, rather than a support character.
  • Moving targets are harder to hit than stationary ones. In this case, you are the target to your enemies. When first playing, focus on not being killed before you work up to getting tons of kills yourself. It helps your team more for you to not be in the way and dying often. Learn to dodge shots fired at you and maneuver around the maps.
  • Don't be afraid to rely on helping tools like auto-fire. It may be natural to resist adding augmentations to your gameplay for fear of getting too much help and not developing naturally. But it is important to factor in the fact that most other players are using this feature and you only disadvantage your progress by not having it enabled. Feel free to play without it, just know that is not a sign of a lesser player to use the aid.
  • Choose your time to use your Ultimate wisely. Your Ultimate gives your character a lot of power that can level the playing field. But it is also met with a longer cooldown time. It might be tempting as a beginning player to use your Ultimate the moment you need help, but this can hurt you by making you weaker afterward and vulnerable to attacks.

Takeaway

When you begin playing Star Wars Hunters, focus heavily on knowing your character's class and the strengths that come with it. Don't be afraid to hold off on getting tons of kills in favor of learning how to move strategically and pick a good moment to use your Ultimate. Use aids like auto-fire to make sure other characters don't have too much of an advantage over you.
