10 Funny, Weird, and Silly Starfield Mods

Yup, you can get lightsabers in the game now.

A large part of the mod community is looking for every which way to enhance the Starfield experience. Some of these mods give much appreciated enhancements to textures and graphics of various assets in the game. Other mods do none of that, instead giving players random things to either look at or laugh at. Here are ten of the wackiest mods for Starfield.

Plated not Crated

The black cases that seem to encase every food item in Starfield isn't the most appetizing container. Plated not Crated fixes this issue by putting food on a plate like it was actually ready to be eaten. Now, you can get a real good look at that pepperoni pizza on a plate as if it was ordered from Dominoes.

Real Water HD

Although Bethesda knocked most of the graphic designs for Starfield out of the park, there is one area that seemed a bit lacking; water. With Real Water HD, the ponds and lakes around the game look actually swimmable. After all, who wants to swim in non-realistic water?

Perk Up - Power Cutters

The Power Cutters in Starfield have become one of the most popular weapons in the game. What if you could only buy Power Cutters, though? This mod allows you to pick up different variations on the Power Cutter, each with different perks. Any Zarya mains from Overwatch might appreciate this mod.

Wood HD

No-realistic wood is almost as tough to look at as non-realistic water. Wood HD addresses this issue nicely by giving every piece of wood in the game enhanced textures. You can really see the individual pieces of bark with this mod.

Wakizashi Cyberpunk 2077 Errata Replacer

Tired of the Wakizashi? This mod simply replaces it with the Errata from Cyberpunk 2077. It's very well designed in this mod as well, going so far as to show sparks fly when the Errata makes contact. The Errata isn't necessarily "better," just cooler looking.

Immersive Lightsabers

Naturally, if there is a game that takes place in space, fans will demand Lightsabers get in there somehow. Now, their wish has been granted with the Immersive Lightsabers mod, which replaces most of the weapons with lightsabers. I did not find any purple lightsabers in the trailer, though, so sorry Mace Windu fans.

Immersive Shell Casings

Yes, combat is very immersive and dynamic in Starfield, but you know what it's missing? Where are the huge amount of shell casings that should be on the floor after a gunfight? The Immersive Shell Casings mod places a large amount of shell casings on the ground after a fight, making the scene look like it came out of a Die Hard movie.

No Enemies on Compass

Have you ever wanted to play hardcore Starfield? Now you can with the No Enemies on Compass mod, which renders the radar useless. With this mod, the only way you're going to notice an enemy is by hearing their footsteps. This is definitely a mod for players who are looking for a really, really tough challenge.

Garfield Menu

Yes, there are loads of nice planets to look at in Starfield. You know what's better to look at, though? Garfield's face is the correct answer. With this texture fix, you can load up to a menu with Garfield's legendary smile in the corner. Cleary, he has just finished an excellent lasagna.

PS1 Graphics

Modern graphics may be nice, but, polygons are just built different. With this mod, you can make Starfield look like it's DLC for Metal Gear Solid. There's nothing more beautiful than those pixelated PS1 faces.
