All Battle Tier 1 units and their abilities in Starship Troopers: Terran Command

  • Rifle Infantry - Rifle Infantry are essentially the basic soldier unit in the game. They are armed with a few special abilities, but overall, they're as basic as you can get.

    • Shotgun Suppression - Make an enemy move slower and even stun them at higher levels
    • Boom Bundle - This is a bundle of grenades thrown a small distance away which can cause friendly fire
  • Combat Engineers - Their weapon of choice on offense is a short-range flamethrower that damages and suppresses all Bugs within its cone of fire. They are especially effective in containing choke points, where they can incinerate many Bugs simultaneously.
    • M7 Incendiary Grenade - A grenade with a flaming explosive
    • HMG Turret - Explained further below
    • Rocket Launcher Turret - Explained further below

    • Designate Target - Highlight an area of the battlefield with enemies and those enemies will take extra damage
    • Aggressive Tactics - Boost any unit's experience by three times the normal rate, and the unit will gain bonus movement speed, armor penetration, and accuracy
    • Defensive Tactics - Makes a unit earn three times the normal amount of experience and increases their fire rate while making them immune to suppression
  • Snipers - Snipers are great shots and can kill bugs with insane accuracy.
    • Action Mode - Increase your movement speed and fire rate
    • Sensor Flare - A flare that reveals more of the fog of war
    • Crippling Shot - Snipers can take a shot at stronger enemies and cripple them
