Best Captain Boomerang Build in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League

G'day, mate!

With the right gear and talents, Captain Boomerang becomes a destructive brawler capable of decimating hordes of enemies. It took a while, but I managed to create the best Captain Boomerang build in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that helped me both in single-player and multiplayer.

Captain Boomerang's Ultimate Build in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Captain Boomerang is the most versatile character in the game, offering a balance between fast movement and powerful attacks. Since he's a good all-rounder, you'll need a build that amplifies that trait, preparing you for all types of enemies and giving you the freedom to choose between different playstyles.

Best Captain Boomerang Loadout in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Unlike sharpshooting heroes like Deadshot, Captain Boomerang thrives against large groups of enemies, but you'll need to gear him up for every type of situation in the game. To get the most out of The Flash's arch-nemesis, go with the following loadout:

  • Firearm 1: Master Bizarro's Undeath Ray Notorious Shotgun gives you a big magazine, high DPS and a good critical hit chance percentage, plus a damage bonus against Frozen enemies. The huge critical hits cause Craze to you enemies, but this comes with a caveat—your Shield will drain by 10 percent after each Craze hit. Afterwards, use Alt Fire to do extra damage to Crazed enemies, and the longer they're in this state, the more damage you'll inflict.
  • Firearm 2: The Death Rattle SMG is the way to go dealing between 830-900 damage per hit and with a +117 critical hit chance. If you manage three Critical Reloads in a row, you'll unleash a wave that Crazes every enemy within 20 meters. This is a great opportunity to switch back to the Shotgun and use Alt Fire for that Crazed damage bonus.
  • Melee: For more up-close encounters, go with the Two-Face's Persuader Boomerang and use its Melee damage bonus to take care of Brutes and Frozen enemies. Every time you hit a Crazed enemy, you have a 50 percent chance of dropping a grenade in front of them, and the Deep Freeze ability isn't too shabby either.
  • Grenade: the Demolisher grenade is a one-off weapon perfect for dispatching a large group of enemies, with a 500 percent damage boost and a 100 percent larger blast radius. Try throwing it while mid-air for a damage bonus, and make sure to move outside of the explosion zone beforehand.
  • Shield Mod: When surrounded by four enemies or more, use the Unflinching Mod to get a 100 percent damage buff and take half the damage. You also get 23 percent more SMG ammo for your Death Rattle, which pretty much seals the deal.
  • Traversal Mod: The Gravitoprism Mod gives you a helping hand with melee attacks, giving you more XP and a longer Traversal Boomerang throwing distance. To mitigate the Shotgun's Shield drain, use Traversal Attacks to get 5 percent more Shield regeneration.
  • Neck Bomb Mod: With mods it's all about damage boosts, and for the Neck Bomb I went with Venom Tolerance. This Mod goes hand-in-hand with the Demolisher thanks to its 13,5 percent grenade damage buff against Grunts. Pair that with the 50 percent damage against Frozen enemies and 22 percent more Critical damage, and you'll blast through enemies with ease.
  • Lucky Charm: Poison Ivy's Thigmotropism builds up your Suicide Strike that lets you use your finisher move, and the 10 percent XP bonus goes hand-in-hand with the 15 percent Affliction build-up boost. This helps you level up faster and use more finishers throughout the match.
