All Owl Locations and Rewards in Tales of Arise

Where to find the fluffy friends and what they'll give you!

During your adventure across Dahna, you'll occasionally find adorable owls hiding around. Not only are these round friends part of an overall quest, but they will also each reward you with a different outfit once you have found them all. There are 38 owls scattered across Dahna, though the last six secret owls are only discoverable after finding the first 32 owls and reaching Rena.

As a general rule, every location will only contain one owl (except for Iglia Wastes). After officially recruiting Rinwell into the party, her partner Hootle will alert you whenever there's an owl in your current location and again when you're close to it. However, you can still find owls before Rinwell joins.

NOTE: we are defining 'location' as an individual page on the map. For example, the inn in Ulzbek is a separate location from the town itself, despite being within the town. This distinction is important for one owl in particular.

ALSO NOTE: There is a single possibly missable owl in the Mobile Fortress dungeon. Supposedly if you miss this owl, it will appear in Thistlym later, but we could not 100-percent confirm this.

You can keep track of your owls per area in the Owl Sanctuary, which you gain access to shortly after entering the Nevira Snowplains. Each of the five major areas of the game has a roost for the owls that you can find there, and you can tell if there are any left in that area by checking the respective roost. Your overall owl count can be found in your Field Guide under Play Records.
