In The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, players experience the plot through the perspective of five different characters. Jaime is one of them, and her life hangs in the balance during various chapters. Here are the decisions you need to make to save Jaime in The Devil in Me.
How to save Jaime at Director’s Suite in The Devil in Me
In the Director's Suite, Kate and Jaime get trapped in a room with a hydraulic pressured wall. There is a button on the wall, and pushing it reverses the direction it collapses on. The screwdriver is a key element in this situation, and shortly before this scene, Jaime offers it to Kate. If Kate has the screwdriver, select the Apologetic option as Jaime, and this ends with Kate breaking the glass with the tool. Alternatively, if Jaime has the screwdriver, select the Defiant option. This scene ends with Jaime breaking the glass with the screwdriver.
How to save Jaime at Chase in The Devil in Me
In the Chase chapter, players end up in a situation where Du'Met grabs hold of Jaime. You'll play this part as Kate, and two choices will come up. You can either Flee, or stay back and save Jaime. We recommend saving Jaime, as it improves the relationship between the two characters and saves her life.

How to save Jaime at Homestead in The Devil in Me
In Homestead, Kate and Jaime come across Connie the dog whimpering in a wooden shack. Here you'll face two key decisions as Du'Met approaches the house. If Kate is still alive, you need to select the Anxious option and ask her to hide. Similarly, you can kill the dog or save its life when Connie is about to bark. We recommend saving Connie, as this allows Jaime and Kate to run away from Du'Met. Kate comes out of hiding and hits Du'Met from the back, allowing Jaime and Connie to escape.
How to save Jaime at Lake in The Devil in Me
The last chapter, Lake, involves a survival situation for all five protagonists, and you must perform their respective QTEs to save them. If Kate is alive, Jaime will attack Du'Met with a cylinder. After this, you'll get the option to jump or attack. If Jaime has the screwdriver, then attack. If not, then it's best to jump and save her life. Alternatively, if Kate is dead, Jaime must support Mark and attack Du'Met. Attacking Du'Met and performing the QTEs saves both Mark and Jaime.
