Best Light Loadout in The Finals

You can become a spy, a ninja, and even BlackWidow from Overwatch!

The Light class in The Finals is heavily reliant on its quick and agile movement across the battlefield, deceiving a team of enemies in the process. In this guide, we'll talk about the best Light loadout in The Finals.

Top Light Build Loadouts in The Finals

Sword Loadout (Ninja)

Loadout:

  • Specialization: Evasive Dash
  • Weapon: Sword
  • Gadget 1: Thermal Vision
  • Gadget 2: Frag/Pyro Grenade
  • Gadget 3: Stun Gun

The "Ninja" loadout is one of the most fun and flashy options while playing Light. It's very easy to use but difficult to master. The trick with using this loadout is to manage your usage of Evasive Dashes, as it's your only mobility option unless you're running with a Medium in your party equipped with a Jump Pad.

Getting in and out of the combat while dealing burst damage and causing chaos is your top priority; you can not one-hit-kill anybody, even Light players. So ensure you're causing the enemy team to expend their resources to fend you, then back off and let your teammates leverage the space you created. This is a lot easier said than done due to how nimble the Light class is, especially if you encounter a Heavy with an RPG.

The Thermal Vision helps you see enemies even under Smoke or Gas Grenades, while the Frag/Pyro Grenade helps you defend/attack a certain area. The Stun Gun is one of the best gadgets you can get to counter a Heavy class swinging a huge hammer at you, as it buys you time while your Evasive Dash is on cooldown.

Given how important movement is, I highly recommend you check your control settings and make sure they are set to your preferred keys/buttons so you're comfortable while moving around the arena.

Invisible Loadout (Spy)

Loadout:

  • Specialization: Cloaking Device
  • Weapon: V9S or Throwing Knives
  • Gadget 1: Thermal Vision
  • Gadget 2: Frag/Pyro Grenade
  • Gadget 3: Stun Gun

One of the most annoying skills in the game is the Light class's Cloaking Device. If you do not have a Medium class with a sonar grenade or at least Recon Senses, you're left with squinting your eyes, trying to see if any of these buggers are running around.

The V9S and Throwing Knives help keep your presence low, allowing you to pick off enemies one by one. The only downside of this loadout is its low mobility (for a Light class) since you still have to run around the map compared to other Light classes with Evasive Dash or Grappling Hook.

Sniper Loadout (Widowmaker)

Loadout:

  • Specialization: Grappling Hook
  • Weapon: SR-84
  • Gadget 1: Vanishing Bomb
  • Gadget 2: Motion Sensor/Goo Grenade
  • Gadget 3: Glitch Grenade

If you're into Overwatch's Widowmaker or Snipers in general, this loadout is for you. You're essentially playing as a recon unit and providing support to your party from afar.

The Grappling Hook gives you the much-needed mobility to reposition yourself if enemies are within your area, while the Vanishing Bomb is a light version of the Cloaking Device, allowing you to break the enemy's sights and, at the same time, can reposition you if needed.

As for the the Motion Sensor, it's essential to protect your back from scummy Lights running around trying to take you out. Another option for gadget 2 would be the Goo Grenade as you can use it to create a small cover when you're sniping in an open area, protecting you from other snipers.

Lastly, the Glitch Grenade helps your party by disabling gadgets and specializations within their area, enabling them to escape or get out of a tricky situation. The Glitch Grenade is also very important to counter medium and heavy classes since it essentially takes out all of their deployable gadgets (shields, turrets, etc.), creating space for you to take them down with your SR-84.

Hit and Run Loadout (Ranger Shotgun)

Loadout:

  • Specialization: Cloaking Device
  • Weapon: SH1900
  • Gadget 1: Stun Gun
  • Gadget 2: Frag/Pyro Grenade
  • Gadget 3: Glitch Grenade/Breach Charge

The SH1900 is one of the most broken guns for the Light class as it can one or two shoot anybody up close; yes, this includes the Heavy class players. With the meta shifting mainly to a mix of Heavy class and Medium class, the only way Light can become relevant during skirmishes in high ranks would be to use the SH1900.

The Cloaking Device allows you to get up close to enemies more effectively than a Grappling Hook. On the other hand, Evasive Dash works well with this loadout; however, it has a higher skill ceiling than the Cloaking Device, requiring you to flick and react accordingly to enemies.

The Stun Gun is an essential tool, especially when using the SH1900, as it creates an opening for your two-shot combo on Heavy and Medium classes. Meanwhile, Frag/Pyro grenades are useful to deal initial damage to enemies before going in with your Cloaking Device.

The Glitch Grenade creates a huge space for you and your team to infiltrate enemy defenses, such as shields and turrets, so you can gun them down without any resistance. Breach Charge is also an option instead of the Glitch Grenade, as it allows you to create unexpected angles of attack, such as underneath a cashout spot.
