Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a spin-off installment in Gearbox's wacky Borderlands universe, and it's looking to earn its spot as the most creative game yet. With fan-favorite character Tiny Tina at center stage, the game promises to provide more of the ridiculous combat and irreverent humor that the series is known for. Here is where Tiny TIna's Wonderlands fits into the Borderlands timeline.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is actually set right after her acclaimed DLC from Borderlands 2—Tiny Tina's Attack on Dragonkeep. That DLC was set right after the events of Borderlands 2, and it deals with how Tiny Tina copes with the events of the game and the loss of her friend, Roland. This places the game right between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3.

The game is centered around Tiny Tina and an RPG tabletop game called Bunkers and Badasses—a nod to Dungeons and Dragons. So, while the game itself lies within the Borderlands canon, most of the game's content will exist only within the tabletop game. Being that it's Tiny Tina's game, most of what happens will be determined by Tina herself, and she is not afraid to adapt the narrative to fit her needs. Therefore, players looking to delve further into Borderlands canon with this game will not get much of it from this title.
The game will release on all major platforms on March 25, 2022, and we will continue to bring you updates and news on the game up until its release and beyond.
