How do Attributes Work in Disney Twisted Wonderland?

How attributes work.

There is a bit more to the magic system in Twisted Wonderland than just throwing out a card that hits hard. A system actually influences what type of magic attacks are strong and weak against your team and foes. This is the attributes system, which plays a major role in all battles in the game.

There are four different attributes in the game that are themed around the elements. Every card will have two magic attacks that pull from this pool of four. These attributes also need to be leveled up if you want your characters to be using stronger attacks.

The four attributes:

  • Water: Weak to tree.
  • Fire: Weak to water.
  • Tree: Weak to fire.
  • Normal: Neutral.

Your goal is to attack using an opposing element to your opponent's attack. If you want to grow your character's magic, then you will need to participate in alchemy lessons. Once a card's magic reaches level 5, it has a chance of gaining magic effects that can help further help in battles. There is also duo magic, but this can only be used by leveled SSR cards.

I start my day by exploring Teyvat in Genshin Impact and end it after reorganizing my apartment in Final Fantasy XIV. I am a diehard fan of N64 era games and will forever feel betrayed that Megaman Legends didn't finish. Outside of gaming, I have spend my time collecting manga, collecting anime figures, and watching anime with my naked cat.
