Twitch users who have experienced bans or suspensions may have experienced a complicated and tedious appeals process. This is now improved with the addition of the newly available Appeals Portal. More improvements like a tweaked reporting system are to be implemented soon.
On March 22, 2022, Twitch posted a news article on their site that confirmed that they have now implemented a more sophisticated appeals process for users who have faced banning or suspension. On top of the Appeals Portal added to the site, an improved reporting mechanism will come that promises to be more intuitive. This will roll out next week, though what specific day has not been confirmed.

Users who want to submit a more detailed report in a faster amount of time are in luck, according to Twitch. The new reporting system will have features like the ability to search offenses to find the intended report more efficiently. Twitch revealed that they believe this will help improve the Twitch experience for users across the globe.
