Materials in V Rising are required to create new gear and to upgrade your castle. Animal Hides are an important resource in the game as they are required to create leather to make the next tier of armor. Here is the best place to farm Animal Hides in V Rising.

Animal Hides locations in V Rising

Wolf Den

Animal hides are obtained by killing creatures, which spawn all throughout Farbane Woods. The best location at the beginning of the game to farm Animal Hides is the Wolf Den. To gather Animal Hides, you will need to defeat the wolves here. This location is a den to the south of Farbane Woods that will always spawn wolves and the Alpha Wolf V Blood boss.

How to make Leather

To create Nightstalker armor, you will first need to turn the Animals Hides into Leather. This is done by building a Tannery at your castle. The tannery requires 8 Planks and 160 Animal Hide to build. Place your Animals Hides in the input section and Leather will begin to be refined. A single leather requires 16 Animal Hide to create.
