How to get Crystals in Valheim

To get crystals in Valheim, you will need to seek out Stone Golems and kill them. When Stone Golems are killed, they will drop a small amount of the crystals. 

So if you want to find Stone Golem, you can find them in the mountainous regions of the mountain biome. They also often appear near abandoned houses and ruins, so we recommend checking both for the Stone Golems. When you find stone golems, they will look like something like the image shown below.

When you approach them they will come out of the ground and attack you. But before you face them in the mountain biome, we recommend making the following preparations.

• Craft warm clothes such as a wolf or lox cape
• Make plenty of frost mead; it will protect you from frost attacks from drakes and the cold if you don't have a wolf or lox cape.
• Bring good armor such as a full iron set to protect from stone golems and ice drakes. 

You will also need to bring a strong weapon such as an iron mace to quickly smash a Stone Golem to pieces. Bringing along a decent shield with high block damage would also be a good idea.

Block and parry their attacks and then stagger them and while they are staggered, get a few quick hits in with your iron mace to quickly kill them. 

After you kill the Stone Golem, you will get the crystals you seek and these can then be used to make various things in the game, such as the crystal battle axe.
