Where to find Abominations in Valheim?

If you want to find Abominations in Valheim, you will need to search the swamp biome in the game. In the swamp biome, abominations will lurk under the ground until you come close, which makes it reasonably easy to find them.

So, if you want to find abominations in the swamp in Valheim, all you need to do is explore the swamp. Sooner or later, one will appear, and you will know when it happens, as you will hear loud rumbling. 

Abominations also seem to spawn randomly, and there is no indication where Abominations in the swamp spawn. Usually, all you will see is a large root-like creature coming out of the ground to attack you and nothing more.

Because of this, we recommend exploring the entire Swamp biome as much as possible to locate one. It may also prove helpful to search near water in the Swamp, as we have seen a few spawn a lot in those locations in the Swamp.

Nevertheless, your best bet to find Abominations in Valheim would be to search the entire swamp until one spawns. That said, when the Abomination spawns and if you manage to kill it, you will be able to use a new resource called roots to make the root armor set.
