All Agent Changes in Valorant Episode 4 Act 2

Controllers rise!

Riot Games recently issued the 4.04 patch update in Valorant Episode 4 Act 2, and it brought several changes to Agent pool. The patch notes highlighted that all four Controller Agents received massive tweaks to their kit, which facilitated a meta change in the game.

At the same time, Yoru received a major rework to his kit, and it definitely makes the lowest pick rate Duelist much stronger than before. The following list features all the Agent changes in Valorant Episode 4 Act 2:

Brimstone

  • Sky Smoke deploy time decreased from 2 to 1 second
  • Sky Smoke deploy radius increased from 5000 to 5500
  • Sky Smoke height increased to match other Controllers
  • Stim Beacon now applies a 15% speed boost along with RapidFire

Astra

  • Maximum Stars reduced from 5 to 4
  • Star cooldown time increased from 14 to 25
  • Astra can now pick up placed Stars during the Buy Phase to refund their charge immediately
  • The maximum distance for placing Stars has been increased from 10000 to 30000 allowing Astra to reach the furthest areas of the map
  • Gravity Well cooldown increased from 25 to 45
  • Gravity Well size reduced from 525 to 475
  • Gravity Well will not affect players completely underneath the Gravity Well
  • Nova Pulse cooldown increased from 25 to 45
  • Nova Pulse will not affect players completely underneath the Nova Pulse
  • Nebula cooldowns increased from 14 to 25, and they are now sequential instead of simultaneous
  • Nebula size increased from 410 to 475
  • Players pinging locations in Astral form will no longer be blocked by level geometry
  • Astra’s targeting ring in Astral form is reduced to one ring that reflects the now unified size of all her utility
  • Astra’s targeting ring will not disappears when aiming across a few map locations
  • Overlay speed increased which covers Astra’s screen when moving in and out of Astral form
  • Stars are now placed exactly where Astra targets instead of slightly above

Omen

  • Dark Cover cooldown decreased from 40s to 30s
  • Dark Cover cost increased from 100 to 150
  • Dark Cover projectile speed increased from 2800 to 6400
  • Shrouded Step's cost decreased from 150 to 100
  • Shrouded Step's pre-teleport delay decreased from 1s to 0.7s
  • Paranoia now has a forward spawn offset, so players adjacent to Omen do not get hit

Viper

  • Toxic Screen cooldown after deactivating increased from 6 to 8
  • Toxic Screen cooldown timer will start when her smoke starts dissipating
  • Toxic Screen deactivation delay decreased from 1 to .8
  • Toxic Screen now has yellow lights that indicate when it is on cooldown
  • Toxic Screen disables immediately when Viper gets suppressed, and a new voice line is added to assist players
  • Viper's fuel drain increased 50% while Toxic Screen and Poison Cloud were active together
  • Viper's fuel bar now turns red when there is no fuel to use on abilities
  • Snakebite duration decreased from 6.5 to 5.5
  • Poison Cloud cooldown after deactivating increased from 6 to 8
  • Poison Cloud cooldown timer now starts as the smoke starts dissipating
  • Poison Cloud deactivation delay decreased from 1 to .8
  • Poison Orb now has a yellow light to indicate when it is on cooldown.
  • Poison Orb disables immediately when Viper gets suppressed, and a new voice line is added to assist players

Yoru

  • FakeoFakeout charges reduced from 2 to 1
  • Fakeout decoy now has 150 HP
  • Fakeout decoy now deploys a full running version of Yoru that can only run sent forward and stops on hitting walls
  • Right-click feature allows players to plant a decoy and reactivate it later
  • If an enemy gun damages decoy Yoru, then it faces the enemy that shot it and flashes them after a short delay
  • Gatecrash charges increased from 1 to 2
  • Gatecrash cost is now 200 Credits
  • Gatecrash cooldown charge refresh was removed, and now it resets with two kills
  • Gatecrash faking added, and players simply have to press F while looking at the beacon. This fake teleport triggers an audio cue similar to Yoru's actual teleport
  • The time it takes for a teleport beacon has decreased from 1.5 to 0.5 seconds
  • Teleport beacon's in-game audio while traveling reduced from 22.5m to 12.5m
  • Speed of the Teleport beacon increased from 675 to 800
  • If Yoru fake teleports, then a small blue decal is created at the area of fake Gatecrash
  • Dimensional Drift duration increased from 8 to 10 seconds
  • Yoru is not revealed to enemies while in Dimensional Drift
  • Dimensional Drift unequip delay time increased from 0.6 to 1.2 seconds
  • Yoru can now use all utilities while inside Dimensional Drift
  • Yoru's Dimensional Drift footsteps are now audible within 15m of his location
  • Dimensional Drift now has a delay which prevents the invulnerability frame at the start of Yoru's ultimate
