In Vampire Survivors, there are 14 Power Ups for you to choose from. These are purchased for gold in the main menu. Each has a different effect that changes how all the characters in the game work.
Remember, you can always re-spec your Power Ups, so experiment while you don’t have enough gold to use them all. Additionally there’s certain strategies that require you to not use individual Power Ups. So don't feel like you need to max everything out.
We've listed the Best Power Ups in Vampire Survivors below.
Best Power Ups
Amount and Growth are the two best options for getting further in the game. Experience is the most important resource in Vampire Survivors, and having more projectiles increases your characters damage more than any other Power Up.
Good Power Ups
Cooldown, Luck, Armor, Magnet and Area are all good options. Cooldown increases damage more than Might. And Luck means you’re more likely to get the upgrade you need. Armor works better than health Power Ups, because it reduces the amount of damage you take by a flat amount.
Magnet and Area are equally good. Magnet works really well with Growth, so if you have full Growth, Magnet should be your choice. Otherwise, if you’re looking for damage, Area will be the best option. Speed and Duration aren’t terrible, but they’re not as big damage increases.
Average Power Ups
Move speed, Greed and Might are distinctly average. Despite being very tempting, they’re not worth the gold that could be better spent on Amount or Growth. Skip these unless you’ve bought everything else.
Worst Power Ups
Max Health and Recovery are the worst Power Ups. It rarely increases your ability to survive longer, and Armor is far better. Revive never works. It just kills you again.
