If you're aiming for 100% completion in the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC, you'll need to finish a couple of tasks that ask you to kill a certain number of enemies. Rotting Ghouls is one of these, and you must defeat many. Here's where to farm Rotting Ghouls and unlock a character in Vampire Survivors.
Where to find Rotting Ghouls in Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC
You can find Rotting Ghouls on the Abyss Foscari map, which you unlock after breaking the Seal of the Lake in the Lake Foscari stage in Vampire Survivors. They only spawn in one location, which can be challenging to find, especially since Abyss Foscari is so dark and you have a limited field of view.
When searching for Rotting Ghouls, look for a light purple zombie-like enemy wearing brown robes.
Rotting Ghouls location in Vampire Survivors
To find Rotting Ghouls, head south from the starting position until you reach the two Crown stage pick-up items. From here, go west until you reach the end of the horizontal hallway and continue northwest.
You'll reach a long hallway where hundreds of Rotting Ghouls will begin to spawn. This is where you want to farm.

Best way to farm Rotting Ghouls in Vampire Survivors
The best way to farm Rotting Ghouls is going for weapons with a wide area-of-effect range, such as Garlic and King Bible, because you want to be able to kill as many Rotting Ghouls as fast as possible. When choosing passive items, Empty Tome is a good pick as it decreases cooldowns, and Candelabrador increases your weapons' AoE size, so you're increasing kill quantity even more.
With large AoEs, enemies won't even be able to get close to your character, meaning you can simply stand still and let the Rotting Ghouls walk into your deathly trap as you watch the kill counter rise.
How to unlock Rottin' Ghoul character in Vampire Survivors
To unlock the Rottin' Ghoul character in Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari, you must kill 6,000 Rotting Ghouls. This sounds like a lot, but when using the method laid out above, it took us less than 10 minutes.
There's no specific counter for Rotting Ghoul kills while you're on a run, so note your overall kill counter number just before you start farming to know when you've reached 6,000.
Once you're done, exit your run, and you'll receive a pop-up on the stage summary screen informing you that you've unlocked Rottin' Ghoul. To play with the character, buy it from the Character Selection menu when loading up another run.
