How to manage Diplomacy in Victoria 3

Diplomacy in Victoria 3 is broken into three categories that you can manage. The first is Relations, which tell you the type of positive or negative relationship you have with another nation. Relations can be improved through pop-up events and diplomatic actions. Next is Infamy, the amount of unpopularity your country receives due to negative actions. To counter this, choose to make more positive contributions to your region.

Finally, there are Interests. Use this tool to Declare Interests in other countries, which can strengthen relations. The number of Declared Interests you can have increases with your country's ranking, which is affected by the economy, naval bases, and a variety of factors.

How to Pass Laws in Victoria 3

To change or pass new Laws in Victoria 3, you want to open the Laws tab under the Politics section. Review all available Laws in the tab regularly to find new ones, as they will often cycle. You'll be given information on how likely a law is to pass, so consider this before enacting new laws. Hover over the law to see who will oppose or support your new law. This is also the area you'll go to when searching for currently active laws in your nation.
