How to switch to Planning Mode in War Mongrels

Strategy wins war.

War Mongrels is an intense and unforgiving real-time strategy game set within World War II. Players will need to carefully plan their moves and position their troops in precise positions if they have any hope of surviving the Great War. Fortunately, players have an option to slow down time and make these plans.

This is called Planning Mode. Players can enter this mode by pressing the tab key or selecting the Planning Mode option on the hotkey bar. This mode slows downtime and allows the player to queue up actions for all of their characters. Once they are ready, they will have to press the enter key to initiate these plans.

Players should remember that this does not stop time, so the enemy will still move and react. Additionally, they must press the enter key to initiate the planned actions. If they exit planning mode in any other way, the characters will not do the actions they queued up.

Planning is great for when players need to move throughout the map or eliminate multiple targets strategically. It's also a great option for when things go wrong, and players need as much time as possible to plan their next course of action.
