The main boss of the new The Beast Hunt DLC is none other than The Beast. This abomination of a creature appears in the valleys of Brigga, infecting the wildlife with a deadly mutation. You can only challenge it after you've defeated its three Heralds. So, if you've done that, here's a guide on how to defeat The Beast in Wartales.
How to beat The Beast in Wartales

Once you've slain the Bellegerent Herald, Famished Herald, and Infected Herald in Brigga, you can then venture to the Tomb of Brigga where The Beast is in a slumber. You need to meet up with Huntsman Mervice, and then explore the Tomb.
When you start exploring the tomb, you first need to go straight and then explore the Left Path to find a Bookshelf. You can either Clear it or Break it (Requires Miner), to gain the Stone Seal which is used to progress deeper into the Tomb.
In the next part of the Tomb, you have to explore the right path till it leads you to the altar with half of the Copper Seal. Repairing it will cost another half, which you can find in the previous room when you Inspect the Skeleton Corpse lying on the ground. Use the Copper Seal to unlock the next door.
In the third section, you first need to fight against a horde of rats to enter the Tomb. Then make your way straight to the room containing the Anvil. There you need someone with the Blacksmith Profession, to forge the Steel Seal. Use it to progress to the next and final room with The Beast.
The Beast Boss Fight, Part 1: Awaken The Beast

Once you've reached the room with The Beast, you can initiate the fight while The Beast is asleep. Make sure you first position your units properly before charging in or attacking the Beast. Properly surround its head with your best damage dealers while keeping most of the tanks in the backline.
Make sure your ranged units are sandwiched between the damage dealers and tanks since once the Beast awakens, you'll have to deal damage to it while also fending off Ghost monsters attacking you from the back.
When positioned, start your assault and focus all your firepower on The Beast's head. It will try to inflict Terror on your companions, so make sure you have someone casting Inspire to counter the effects. Once the Beast's HP drops to around 3,000 hit points, it will run out of the Tomb.
The Beast Boss Fight, Part 2: Escape The Tomb

Just when The Beast escapes the Tomb, your objective will update to escaping the Tomb as it will start collapsing. Now, you'll have to act quickly and ensure that all of your companions can flee the scene without being hit by falling stones.
To make sure that none of your troops are hit by the stone, always position them outside the Red circles on the ground which appear every round. Moreover, use your tanks to aggro the monsters while priorizing that your damage dealers escape, since they'll be the furthest from the retreat area.
Once your damage dealers are at the fleeing location, start retreating with your ranged units while also chipping off the closest monsters. When you've got most of your team out, get your Tanks out of there as soon as possible. Your Tanks might be able to take a few hits from falling stones, but your DPS and Ranged might die from them.
The Beast Boss Fight, Part 3: Trap The Beast

Once out, the main battle begins a few spaces away from the Tomb, downhill. The Beast is wreaking havoc and a fight has ensued with the Trackers, and they expect your assistance to defeat The Beast. Make sure you Save and Rest up your troops before engaging in this fight.
Your objective in this fight would be to immobilize the Beast and make it Vulnerable to deal damage. The Beast has around 4,000 HP, making it a relatively long and arduous battle. You need to use the Traps laid across various spots on the battlefield to Trap the Beast.
The best way to defeat The Beast is to make sure of two things, you've got enough units positioned near Traps and you can consistently deal DoT like Poison and Burn. You need to hit The Beast with two "Spring The Trap" attacks to make it Vulnerable.

Once it's in the Vulnerable state, keep dealing as much damage as possible, with the Rangers at a distance and the Warrior closest to the Boss to tank its hits. Position your 2-handed Tanks at the Backline to deal with the Ghost Monsters that will keep spawning regularly.
The Vulnerable status only lasts one round, and The Beast can disappear in the next round while spawning more monsters. It reappears in the round after, in one of many spots, generally in the one with most of your units in it, dealing damage.
As long as you have your damage dealers protected, Tanks getting healed regularly and rangers out of harm's way, it will take you around 15-20 minutes of consistent attacks and repositioning to defeat The Beast in Wartales.
