That's why I took a chance reaching out to a Treacherous Soul through a mysterious grave; I was skeptical and wary, but I wanted to find out what it did. Here's what I've learned.

What is the Treacherous Soul in Witchfire?

The Treacherous Soul is an interactive event you can find in Witchfire. I encountered it at one of the locations marked as a Dangerous Area. Once you reach out to the Treacherous Soul, a red wisp will appear and beckon you to follow it. It will fly to a specific spot and will continue to spawn enemies along the way.

Should you reach out to the Treacherous Soul in Witchfire?

Yes, you should reach out to the Treacherous Soul and follow it. While it will spawn various enemies, if you can defeat them and reach the end of the Treacherous Soul's path, it will give you rewards. I received a Supply Chest Key and crystalized Witchfire for my troubles. These are valuable resources you can use to get loot and upgrade your stats.

Where to find the Treacherous Soul in Witchfire

The Treacherous Soul has a random chance of spawning in your expedition and can be found at locations marked by a Dangerous Area, marked by a pentagram. There is no guarantee it will spawn, but look for the gravestone in this area. Once activated, follow the wisp as you travel across the map.
