Although Witchfire is about exterminating witches and their monsters, there are other aspects of the game to enjoy as well. Loot plays a big role in your continued survival and is most commonly found in chests. Many chests are marked on your map at the start of a run, but some are not, including Locked Supply Chests. As the name suggests, you'll need Supply Chest Keys to open them. Here are the best ways I've found to get Supply Chest Keys in Witchfire.
How to get Supply Chest Keys in Witchfire
There are three ways to get Supply Chest Keys in Witchfire. The first is by defeating enemies and receiving one as a random drop. As this is random, you are not guaranteed to get one; however, Luck is the best stat to upgrade if you want to get more keys and get more rewards from Supply Chests.
Another way to get Supply Chest Keys is by opening other chests. I found one simply by opening unlocked chests in the area. I'm not sure if this is affected by the Luck stat, but you should check out other chests when you have the time and are near one. You may even find additional loot.
The final way to get Supply Chest Keys is by completing Treacherous Souls encounters. You'll need to find these on the map by heading to Dangerous Areas, marked by a pentagram. Follow the wisp, defeat the enemies, and you may be rewarded with a Supply Chest Key.
Once you have the Supply Chest Key, return to the locked chest and open it. I've received good items, such as White Feathers, which allow you to reroll your upgrade options after collecting a Deus Vult. Locked Supply Chests are marked on your map as Old Supply Chests, so ensure you remember where they are.
