With the release of the Revival Catalyst in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, players no longer have to rely on random drops to complete their Tier Set. Players can now take their gear to a machine that will convert their regular armor into something with a set bonus. Before that can be done, they need to collect Renascent Lifeblood to charge the catalyst.
How to charge the Revival Catalyst in Dragonflight
Players need to have a Renascent Lifeblood to charge the catalyst, and these can be collected by finishing a weekly quest aptly titled Revival Catalyst. To get things started, players must first pick up a quest from Watcher Koranos, who can be found at the Seat of the Aspects. He gives the quest called Reviving the Machine which will lead to players unlocking the weekly quest.
The weekly quest given by Antuka, the NPC next to the catalyst, will show players a progress bar that has to be filled up by completing various objectives. This bar is completed by doing Mythic dungeons, killing raid bosses and world bosses, doing world events such as Dragonbane Keep, and competing in PvP matches.
What's the quickest way to get Catalyst Charges?
This quest is interesting because it's account-wide, and players can make progress on it across all of their World of Warcraft characters. Players doing daily activities across several characters will get it filled up very quickly. Killing five world bosses, for example, would be enough to finish the quest if each character completes their weekly world boss quest while doing it.
However, there will only be one Renascent Lifeblood available a week, so players must decide what gear to use it on. Blizzard didn't give players a way to convert their gear all at once by time gating the charges like this, so unlucky players who didn't get any Tier Set drops yet will have to wait a bit if they're coming from zero pieces.
