How to get the Highland Drake mount in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

Truly the best dragon mount.

Not all mounts are created equally. This has never been more apparent than when the four World of Warcraft Dragonflight dragonriding mounts were revealed. Sure, some outliers may prefer one of the other three, but it seems the vast majority of the player base saw the Highland Drake mount and said "YES." While we're not one to play favorites, we'll let you in on this little secret, the majority of the player base is right in this instance. Here's when you can add it to your collection.

Where to get the blue dragon mount in WoW Dragonflight

The Highland Drake mount is acquired as players progress through Dragonflight's main story quest. In Chapter 4 of The Azure Span, players will get the quest Calling the Blue Dragons whose completion will award the coveted mount.

This will be the third dragonriding mount that players acquire, with the other three being the Renewed Proto-Drake, Windborne Velocidrake, and Cliffside Wylderdrake. Like the other three, there is a bevy of customization options available for the Highland Drake. Sure, they break down into the same categories, but there's enough variety to really make it your own.
