How to get the Ivory Trader’s Ottuk mount in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

He's got little whiskers!

Probably one of the best additions to World of Warcraft comes courtesy of the Dragonflight expansion. Ottuks are adorable, otter-like mounts that slink along as they carry their rider. There are several variations to obtain, but one of the easier versions, The Ivory Trader's Ottuk, only required some dungeons and their loot.

Tattukiaka sells the Ivory Trader's Ottuk in The Azure Span. This is one of two Ottuks they sell, with the other being the Iskaara Trader's Ottuk. The currency needed to purchase the mount is a little unusual. Tattukiaka wants three rings from various Dragonflight dungeons.

Tattukiaka's Rings

  • Thunderous Downburst Ring - The Raging Tempest boss in The Nokhud Offensive
  • Unstable Arcane Loop - Leymor boss in The Azure Vault
  • Platinum Star Band - Vexamus in Algeth'ar Academy

The rings can be acquired from any difficulty setting of the dungeon and mixed and matched. So if you nab one on Heroic, the other on Normal, and the third from Mythic, that's fine. Tattukiaka is a pretty understanding fellow. Though, if you're looking for the quickest and most efficient way to acquire them, we recommend running them on Normal as it will be the lowest entry bar. Note that the rings aren't guaranteed to drop, so it may take several runs to claim them.
