How to use Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel Priest Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery

In WoW Season of Discovery, each class gets access to 12 different Runes that grant unique abilities. The Prophecy of a Desecrated Citdael item grants the Priest class the Homunculi ability but it takes a few steps to use, so here's how you can.

How to activate the Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel in WoW Season of Discovery

The Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel does teach you how to use the Homunculi spell, but to use the item, you first need to get two special Mediation buffs. There is no other method that will allow you to learn from the item in question. Depending on your Priest's race, you'll need to do different things to get the first meditation buff.

How to get the first Meditation buff

If you're a Night Elf, you need to kneel within one of the many Moonwells located in Darnassus. If you're a Human or Dwarf, you'll need to simply kneel in front of your race's respective Priest Trainer. If you're playing as a Horde Priest, then as an Undead, all you need to do is kneel in front of your Priest Trainer. If you're a Troll, then you need to kneel at the Loa Alter in Sen'jin Village.

Don't be alarmed if you don't get the buff right away. Remain kneeled until you receive the Meditation buff. The name of this buff differs depending on the race but has Meditation in its name. This buff lasts for quite a while, so there's no need to rush the process to get the second meditation buff.

How to get the second Meditation buff

The second meditation buff doesn't come from any specific place. Instead, the buff is obtained by having another player of a different race grant it to you. The other player must have the buff for this process to work, and they must be of a different race from you. So, if you're playing as an Undead Priest, you'll need to find a Troll Priest that also has its own unique version of the first Meditation buff. Once you do, kneel before them (/kneel), and pray (/pray) to receive their version of the buff.

How to learn the Homunculi spell in WoW Season of Discovery

Once you have two variants of the Mediation buff, all that's left to do is to use the Prophecy of a Desecrated Citadel item in your inventory. When you do, you'll learn the Homunculi spell after a few seconds, which can be engraved on any Leg piece.
