Phase 2 grimoire locations for Warlocks in WoW Classic Season of Discovery (Map)

Season of Discovery Phase 2 is here, and this means new Quality of Life skillbooks for all classes. Warlocks have two of these coveted items: the Portal of Summoning and the Soul Harvesting grimoires—both are worth picking up as you continue on your SoD Classic journey to level 40.

Each of these skillbooks can actually be found in the same location: Scarlet Monastery. The Scarlet Monastery is located in the northernmost part of Tirisfal Glades. The levels for SM range from 25 to 45, so SoD fans will be in the sweet spot for this dungeon throughout their entire leveling in phase 2.

Both the grimoires will drop from rare spawn and boss enemies anywhere in the Scarlet Monastery. While the skillbooks are most likely to have a lowish drop rate, there is not currently enough data for the community to have a good idea of how often you might see them.

The Grimoire of Soul Harvesting

The first Warlock-exclusive book gives you the ability called Soul Harvesting. It is a passive that adds a chance to gain an additional Soul Shard every time you cast Drain Soul. Each time you don't get a Soul Shard while casting Drain Soul, your chance of getting two on the next drop becomes higher.

The Grimoire of Portal of Summoning guide

The Grimoire of Portal of Summoning is a BoP that gives Warlocks the ability to learn the spell Portal of Summoning. This spell does exactly what it sounds like it does: you cast a portal to summon one raid or party member to the Warlock with the help of two other raid or party members. It costs 12% of the caster's mana as well as a Soul Shard. This is a two-minute cast with a two-minute cooldown.
