While going through your Backpack, you may have noticed that you've collected a good number of Wood-textured Shards. They look like worthless wooden splinters, but can actually be used to purchase some amazing items to help you on your journey. Here's how to spend Wood-textured Shards, and how to get more when you run out.
How to get Wood-textured Shard in Wuthering Waves
Wood-textured Shards can be obtained by opening Supply Chests and Tidal Heritages throughout Huanglong. The number of Shards you get is proportional to the rarity of the Chest.
A Tidal Heritage is a fissure that acts as a Supply Chest with a different design. It can only be unlocked by defeating the surrounding enemies. There are two types of Tidal Heritages: green and purple. Only the green ones (pictured above) reward you with Wood-textured Shards.
Chest | Reward |
---|---|
Basic Supply Chest | x1 Wood-textured Shard |
Standard Supply Chest | x2 Wood-textured Shard |
Advanced Supply Chest | x3 Wood-textured Shard |
Premium Supply Chest | x5 Wood-textured Shard |
Tidal Heritage (Green) | x2 Wood-textured Shard |
How to use Wood-textured Shard in Wuthering Waves
Wood-textured Shards act as consumable currency, which you can spend in the Souvenir Store in Jinzhou. Head to the area marked by a gift icon on the Jinzhou map, then speak to Ganxue to peruse her wares.
You can purchase a variety of useful items from the Souvenir Store. While the Lustrous Tides are tempting, I suggest prioritizing the recipes as they can't be obtained anywhere else. There's no rush in spending your Wood-textured Shards—you can hold onto them and purchase items you need in a pinch.
