Spectro vs Havoc Rover: Which is the better choice after you finish Wuthering Waves Chapter 1

The Havoc Resonance Liberation skill slaps.

During your battle with the mutated Crownless Echo (which is a Dreamless) at the end of Wuthering Waves Chapter 1, Rover will gain Havoc attribute abilities. It's a pretty epic scene and the new skills help resolve the fight quickly. But, once the battle is over and you've unlocked the ability to switch between attributes, which should you choose?

Is it better to use Spectro or Havoc as Rover in Wuthering Waves?

Both attributes have their own set of skills and animations. As a player, you may feel like you need to switch to Havoc because it's the newest unlock in the game and it feels like part of the progression of the story.

However, the decision is entirely yours and there are benefits to both attributes. The animations for each attribute are also very different, so playing Havoc Rover for a bit might help you shake off the small bit of monotony that you could be feeling from using the same attacks day in and day out.

Spectro Rover vs Havoc Rover comparison

The below comparison table shows the differences between Spectro Rover and Havoc Rover without any additional boosts from Echoes. This is the baseline of both attributes for a level 50 Rover with level 1 attacks and a level 40 weapon.

Havoc Rover has more health and higher Attack specs, while Spectro Rover has better Defense. Spectro does feel like a more defensive attack style, while the opposite is true for the one-winged strikes of Havoc Rover.

Now let's compare ultimate skills; also known as Resonance Liberation in Wuthering Waves:

Conclusion: Havoc Rover is stronger in Wuthering Waves

Though the numbers make it clear that switching to Rover's Havoc attribute after Chapter 1 is the better choice, there are still some reasons to continue playing Spectro Rover. It's possible, through the use of - Echoes, Forte Circuit skills, and weapons - to build up either attribute to get better stats.

It is much easier to boost Attack Damage numbers for either attribute, though. Echoes for Spectro and Havoc both add Attack Damage to Rover's stats, but neither offers Defense, which is where Spectro falls short of Havoc in this comparison.

If you want to build a more defensive Rover, stick to Spectro at this point in the game, but know that you're going to find it much more difficult to build Defense skills.

For an all-out Attack Damage build, Havoc Rover should be your choice. From Echoes to every combat skill, Havoc Rover is built to strike hard and fast. Plus, the animation for their Havoc attribute skills is really eye-catching.
