Music is a big part of WWE and always has been. Sometimes, a wrestler's entrance music is so effective that a particular song ends up being synonymous with the actual wrestler (take John Cena, for instance). There are lots of tracks to choose from in WWE 2K22, but can you use Spotify?
Unfortunately, Spotify is still not available to use within the newest WWE game. The only entrance pieces that you can pick from or listen to are the ones included by 2K and Visual Concepts, who make and publish the games.

The reason is due to the legal difficulties that arise from integrating a streaming software to a game. Despite the fact that it would be an excellent feature, game devs and publishers still need copyright permission when they include licensed music in their games.
Integrating WWE 2K22 with Spotify would not provide the right to use just any track whilst in game. The tracks would need to be individually agreed upon. Although we all wish for it to one day be the case, and it might be with a future improvement upon copyright laws, this is why there is a pre-determined track list.
Fingers crossed that a deal in one of the subsequent games can be brokered to allow the feature. In the meantime, Xbox users can play the Spotify app in the background over their gameplay.
