The trailer announcing Power On: The Story of Xbox was released to the public by Microsoft during the Xbox 20th Anniversary Celebration live stream on Nov. 15, 2021. With the trailer and announcement of the series, information that the docuseries will debut on Dec. 13, 2021, was also released. With less than a month between the announcement and the release, it is an understatement to say that many fans were surprised.

Power On: The Story of Xbox is an upcoming documentary series that will debut on multiple platforms, including YouTube and Roku.
