This new look was announced on the official Nintendo Twitter account, and in addition to Eunie and Taion, Nintendo mentions, "The pairs of Noah & Mio, Lanz & Sena, and Eunie & Taion will always Interlink with one another." The Ouroboros forms are one of many new features coming in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

While it is not known how many characters there are total in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players will be able to control seven characters in their party, with certain duos being able to interlink and form an Ouroboros. These forms seem central to the game's plot, as two nations are hunting the player.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 recently got a surprise early release date of July 29, 2022. This means fans will be able to get their hands on the game earlier than expected and discover the Ouroboros forms for themselves soo enough.
