How to get a Golden Apple in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

I needed a Golden Apple for a random Korok challenge in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and spent a good hour trying to track one down. If you're also hunting for one, let me cut the workload for you—here's how to get a Golden Apple in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to find Golden Apples in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You've undoubtedly seen the countless apple trees growing around Hyrule; they're everywhere. And this is where the Golden Apples can be found, but very rarely will you see the elusive fruit sprout from one, which proves rather difficult when trying to complete Korok challenges or cook certain dishes in TotK.

Golden Apple locations in Tears of the Kingdom

While they can spawn all over the map, I've found two guaranteed spots where you can grab not just one but multiple of them!

The first location is accessible as soon as you've unlocked the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower. Launch yourself into the South Hyrule Sky Archipelago, then glide to the island with three trees to the south (map coordinates -0699, -1178, 0986). Here, you'll find three Golden Apples ready for the picking.

Another fruitful spot I stumbled across is sandwiched in the West Necluda Sky Archipelago. You can take either the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower or the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower to access it. Once in the air, look for an island with multiple trees (map coordinates 1724, -1900, 0691).

There are three more Golden Apples here, meaning you'll be stocked up for a while!
