How to get Ember Armor in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

Link can become overpowered in hot weather.

Compared to its predecessor, Link has tons of new armor sets to choose from in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Ember Armor is one of the more unique (and fun) ones players can find around Hyrule. While the Flamebreaker armor guards Link against the heat, the Ember armor actually gives him an Attack boost in high temperatures.

Where to get the Ember Trousers in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

The Ember Trousers are probably the toughest to find, since their part of one of the more annoying quests in Tears of the Kingdom. To start, go to the entrance of Cephla Lake Cave (coordinates 2597, 1325, 0151).

There are two NPCs outside the entrance who will tell Link there's a treasure inside left by the legendary Misko from Breath of the Wild.

When players enter the cave, they will find a room with a bunch of chests. The one with the Ember Trousers is towards the back left corner of the room, stuck in the ground. A good way to find it is to stop short of the brighbloom seeds that grow in that corner. This is a rough idea of where it is.

Even with pictures, it can still be tough to find. I totally admit to just walking toward the area and opening up every nearby chest until I found the Ember Trousers.

Where to get the Ember Shirt in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

The Ember Shirt is found in the Goronbi River Cave. The quickest way to get there is to head to Goron City, head west to Goron River, then find the tip where the river ends on the south side. The coordinates for Goronbi River Cave are 1418, 2105, 0286.

Inside the cave will be a river of lava with stones that Link can use to cross. Head right from the opening and players will find a lava waterfall next to a stone platform with streams of lava pouring down from the right.

In order to cross this part, players will need to build a bridge with a couple of stones to cross to the platform and defeat the Fire Like Like waiting there. I built my bridge with three stones just to make sure I got to the other side. That gap in the lava is deceptively wide.

After beating the Fire Like Like, the stone bridge likely has floated around. Players can hop back on the bridge to float through the rest of the cave.

In the next room will be a hanging beam; Ascend up to it to find a Lizal Blade.

From this platform, simply glide to the other side of the room and head through the door. Not only will players find the Ember Shirt, but they'll also find a clue to the Link's Awakening armor.

Where to get the Ember Headress in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

For the final piece of the Ember Armor set, players need to head to YunoboCo South Cave. This can be found north of Goron City by all of the carts. Its coordinates are 1713, 2720, 0403.

There will be a couple of Horroblins to battle inside. Once they're taken care of, use a hammer to break up the rubble and head to the room inside. There will be a raft vehicle in mid assembly, but players can ignore it; the only necessary thing in here is the hydrant.

Grab the hydrant and return to the main room. Use the hydrant to make at least three stone slabs.

Make sure to line them up on the right side of the room, since the goal is to reach the extended platform there. If necessary, grab one of the previous slabs with Ultrahand and move it in front of the platform.

Once on the other side of the lava, Link can just walk to the back where there is a raft with a pedastal on top. This holds the chest with the Ember Headress inside.
