How to solve the White Bird’s Guidance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

This quest takes snowmen building up a notch.

The shrine quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can definitely be headscratchers. Case and point would be the White Bird's Guidance, which doesn't actually feature a white bird. Instead, there are some clues in the overworld of the Rito Village that point out where Link needs to go.

Solution for the White Bird's Guidance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

This Tears of the Kingdom quest is given by Laissa, one of the Rito that hangs around Rito Village. She can be found by the balcony overlooking the Hebra Mountains (coordinates: -3631, 1827, 0204).

She claims that she saw a white bird point out the location of a cave that the Rito can use to fish in and gather mushrooms. Laissa also found this supposed white bird while on top of the perch over Rito's Village (where Vah Medoh rested in Breath of the Wild).

That makes the first point of order to get to the top of the structure at the center of Rito Village. Players could climb, but I actually just used Ascend a couple of times. There are several areas in the village with overhangs that I used Ascend on, and I got to the top in no time.

Once on top of the perch, the clue suggests looking outward to find this white bird. There won't be an actual bird appearing to Link, though. Instead, there is a formation in the snow by the Hebra Mountains that "looks" like a white bird. By clicking the right stick down, players can use the binoculars to get a good look at the semblance of a white bird.

From the perch, it's a quick glide to where the white bird is. The entrance to the cave is just to the left of the bird (coordinates: -3953, 2032, 0201).

Players do not solve the quest just by going inside, though. To actually complete the quest, Link needs to travel through the cave until they find Wao-os Shrine.
