The Lord of the Mountain was such a beautiful part of Breath of the Wild that it was only right that it return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Formally known as Satori, this mythical creature was a touching tribute to late Nintendo visionary Satoru Iwata. There are also some new mechanics with Satori in this sequel, though. Here's how to summon it.
Where to find Satori in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)
To find Satori in Tears of the Kingdom, players should head to the top of Satori Mountain. This area is just south of the Tabanthia Frontier Bridge Stable on the western side of Hyrule. It's coordinates are -2300, -0346, 0349.
On top of this mountain will be a Cherry Blossom tree with a stone statue at its roots. The statue will be holding a stone bowl. What Link needs to do is drop an Apple or alternate piece of fruit into the bowl as an offering for Satori, and Satori will appear.
What does Summoning Satori Do in TotK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Once big difference from Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild is that players won't be able to ride Satori, at least after only placing fruit into the bowl. When Satori is summoned, a cutscene plays where Satori places pillars of light over all the caves in the immediate area.

The reason why Satori does this is that every cave has a Bubbulfrog and, therefore, a Bubbul Gem to retrieve. Players will have to collect Bubbul Gems if they want to get the Satori Armor set, so this is Satori's way of helping Link out.
Another interesting part of Tears of the Kingdom is that, after Satori gets summoned once, he can show up at other Cherry Blossoms. I personally was able to summon Satori by a Cherry Blossom tree at Ebon Mountain (totally not me hunting for Hearty Radishes). Summoning Satori reveals the caves around the area where he is summoned.
July 11, 2023, is the eight-year anniversary of Satoru Iwata's passing. Rest in peace Satoru, you are well remembered.
