Zenith: The Last City – Classes and roles, explained

How will you play Zenith: The Last City?

At the start of Zenith: The Last City, players must create a character, and a part of that is choosing their class. This determines how you will play through the VR MMORPG, so choose wisely.

There are two classes in Zenith: The Last City. These are the Blade Master and Essence Mage. Here are the differences between the two classes.

  • Blade Master: Wields two blades in melee combat. Use these to parry and strike opponents. The Blade Master can unleash powerful sword abilities in addition to regular strikes.
  • Essence Mage: Wields powerful spells through two gauntlets for a range. Players can combine various spells to deal devastating attacks to their opponents while keeping their distance.

Which class you choose comes down to the preferred playstyle. Those who like to get up close and personal should select the Blade Master, while those who prefer to hang back should go with the Essence Mage. Once you have selected your class, you need to choose a DPS, Tank, or Support role.

  • DPS: Focuses on dealing damage and taking foes down quickly with powerful abilities.
  • Tank: Focuses on taking damage and redirecting the enemy's focus.
  • Support: Focuses on healing allies rather than directly dealing damage.

One thing to note is that the player cannot change their class once they have made their choice. However, they can swap out their role for another if it is not to their liking.
