How to Get Blueprints in Prospecting
IMPORTANT: Some items, like the Cryogenic Preserver, Mythril Ring, etc., will require blueprints to unlock their recipes. You can get blueprints by finishing quests. For the Snow Island items, there are multiple NPCs on the island who reward blueprints for quest completions.
All Ring Crafting Recipes
Ring items are the ones you'll be crafting the most in Prospecting, as you have the most slots for them. As a F2P player, you can have up to 6 rings equipped, and you can buy 2 more ring slots with Robux. How to Craft Items in Roblox Prospecting
To craft items in Prospecting, you'll first have to interact with a crafting anvil in one of the towns. Then, select one of the craftable items on the left and click View to start picking out the minerals you'll use to craft the item. Lastly, click on Craft to finish crafting the item. The crafting item list is the same no matter which town you are in.
How Does Item Quality Work and How to Make the Best Items Efficiently?
In Prospecting, the quality of the item you craft depends on how above-average the weight and price of the minerals you use are. Quality can go from 1★ (50% max stats) to 5★ (100% max stats). If there are multiple materials needed for the craft, the net average quality of all minerals will be used for the final quality calculation. Here are some pro tips on how to craft the best-quality items most efficiently:
- If you use very heavy low-rarity minerals, you'll be able to get a 5★ item even if the other crafting components are very light. So, use the heaviest cheap minerals and the lightest expensive minerals.
- It's best to craft only 5★ items, especially if they have very cheap crafting components.
- When picking out items, you can overshoot regarding the necessary mineral quality. So, once you get a 5★ quality projection, test out different combinations so that you use as few high-quality minerals as possible.
- Open your inventory while crafting to see how much each item that you're using is worth.
- If you need a rare mineral to craft multiple items, don't waste it on crafting one of the bad ones.
How to Reforge Items in Prospecting?
Reforging items in Prospecting allows you to reroll their stat bonuses for a fee (starts at base item price; you can use Robux to reforge an item to max stats). The fee increases as you reforge it more and more, and it becomes exponentially less worth reforging the more you do it. Generally, it's best to reforge only up to 2 times and to stop if you already have good enough rolls on the most important stats. The quality of the item doesn't change while reforging, so it's advised to reforge only 5★ items.
How to Forge (Combine) Items in Prospecting?
In The Magma Furnace, there is a Forge where you can fuse two of the same 5★ items into a 6★ one, increasing all of its stats by 10%. Generally, forging items is only worth doing after you've gotten all the best gear or if you already reforged some items too many times and they are still bad. The quality of the forged item will be the average of the two items you used in the forging process.
How to Equip Items in Prospecting?
To equip the items that you crafted, open your Prospector Kit and select the Equipment tab on the top right. On the left, you'll see all equippable items in your inventory, and on the right, you'll see all your currently equipped items. You can hover over an item to see its stats.
