To unlock certain weapons and equipment in Call of Duty: Warzone, players need to complete daily challenges. Besides the three base missions, you get a bonus objective to play and survive in Warzone to earn points. Here's how this works.
Warzone bonus challenge - Play and survive to earn points
In the Armory Unlocks section under the daily challenges, you can activate and add to the queue new MW3 weapons and gear that you want to get access to. Although this system is restrictive, the bonus challenge to play and survive in Warzone to earn points allows you to unlock several items quickly.
Begin a match of Warzone 3 and survive as long as possible, preferably winning the round, to get points for your Armory Unlocks. I was able to unlock various weapons, perks, and aftermarket parts in a matter of a few hours just by playing Warzone's Battle Royale and Resurgence modes. This is way quicker than Multiplayer and Zombies where the bonus mission asks players to get wins and complete contracts.
While playing BR on the Urzikstan map, I suggest completing contracts like Upload Intel and Scavenger if your primary purpose is winning the match. You can also obtain good survival gear and cash doing these objectives, and Upload Intel will also mark the next safe zone on the tac map so you know where to go next before the opponents. Resurgence matches last shorter and to survive in them, make sure at least one teammate stays alive so others can redeploy for free.
In the Armory Unlocks tab, you'll be able to select the weapons and equipment you want to unlock first in Warzone. However, some weapons have locked attachments that don't appear in the list and you need to manually activate them from the gunsmith. For instance, the DG-58 AR has a locked barrel (see image) that becomes available for use after you've activated it for Armory Unlocks.
