Diablo 4 – Zoltun’s Warding location & how to get

May Zoltun protect you!

Zoltun’s Warding is a necessary item for getting the best loot in Season 3 of Diablo 4. That's why it's important to know Zoltun’s Warding location and how to get it.

You can get Zoltun's Warding by entering a Vault and exchanging Pearls of Warding at the Zoltun Kulle's Statue. One Pearl of Warding equals three units of Zoltun's Warding, and you can stack them up all the way up to 999. It's important to have this protective item, especially when going to challenging areas such as Abattoir of Zir.

To get Zoltun's Warding, you need to find one of the five Vaults in Season 3. Upon entering, look for the statue of Zoltun Kulle at the Vault's entrance. You will get the menu that will allow you to exchange Pearls of Warding for Zoltun's Warding. You can get Pearls of Warding as a reward for finishing Braziers during Arcane Tremors, or you can find them in chests after ending Vaults. One Pearl will give you ten Zoltun's Wardings, and I recommend spending more than one Pearl if possible. The maximum number of Zoltun's Wardings is 999.

How to use Zoltun's Warding

Vaults are riddled with deadly traps, and it is very difficult to go through the entire Vault unharmed with only ten Zoltun's Wardings. Exchange at least two or three Pearls, at least until you learn how the traps work in Vaults. You will lose an entire stack of Zoltun's Warding whenever you take damage from a trap.

This will not affect the dungeon run; however, it might prevent you from getting Wardwoven Chest at the end of it. In the normal Vault run, you will need at least one stack of Zoltun's Warding to open the chest. Having only one stack of Zoltun's Warding means you can only fall for traps twice before dying.
