Enter the Tomb

The Golden Bing Bong is hidden away at the end of the Tomb area in the Mesa Jungle. You can find a small hole on the desert floor near the tornado. Going down this hole will lead you to the Tomb, but this hole is usually obscured by a Boulder.

The Tomb's entrance only spawns on certain days with a 25% chance of generation based on the seed for that day. This is entirely randomized, and some days you will not be able to access the Tomb at all. An alternate method, is to glitch into the Tomb by using the backpack glitch to get through the rock that blocks the path near the exit.

Find Golden Bing Bong

Once you find the Tomb entrance, you need to either use a Chain Hook, or perform a difficulty leap that will deal a little bit of damage to you. If you've safely managed to enter the Tomb, you just need to do some small parkour sections in a linear path until you come across the Golden Bing Bong. Head back where you came from and an exit will open for you.

Carry Golden Bing Bong With You

The Golden Bing Bong has a whopping weight of 20 making it one of the heaviest items in PEAK. In return, you become invincible while holding it. You become immune to all damage, spikes, lava, explosions, poison, debuffs and other negative statuses. Just make sure you're mindful of your stamina, as you might have to climb out of lava or other dangerous terrain which puts away the Golden Bing Bong.

To make the load easier, we suggest stocking up on Balloons and Balloon Bunches as they lighten your backpack.

Toss it into the Kiln

You have to carry the Ancient Idol all the way up to the Kiln which is the final area before you reach the Peak. Once you toss the Golden Bing Bong into the Kiln, you will get the 24 Karat Badge.ll, as well as the Bing Bong Beanie Hat (the best hat in the game honestly). However, there have been instances of players not getting the badge despite doing this. This issue is related to a bug in the game.

24 Karat Badge Achievement Bug in PEAK

The 24 Karat Badge is bugged for players even if they throw the Golden Bing Bong into the Kiln because the flag that checks if the lava belongs to the Kiln was set to false. Long story short, the game doesn't acknowledge the lava in the Kiln and treats it as any other lava. The devs will likely rectify this issue soon since it's a quick and easy fix.
