Although DIG has seen a sharp decline in its active players over the past month, it is part of the Roblox The Takeover event. And, if you have played the game before, you can get back in to earn yourself and your crew some Creds. This guide will talk you through the process of completing all Dig The Takeover challenges.
All Dig The Takeover Challenges & How to Complete Them
Dig has three challenges that players can complete to earn up to 22 Creds. These challenges are of three difficulty levels- Noob, Pro, and Master. To see these challenges in Dig and to start playing them, click on the Takeover icon added right next to the Chat icon. You can also talk to the Trick NPC standing outside Rocky’s Shovel Store.

Buy the Toy Hammer Shovel - The Toy Hammer Shovel is different from the Toy Shovel. You can purchase the Toy Hammer Shovel from Rocky’s Shovel Store in Fox Town for $500. 3. | Pro | Complete the following two objectives: 1. Win 5 games of Whack A Mole - In Rocky’s Shovel Store, there is an arcade machine next to the Toy Hammer Shovel. Interact with it to play the game and win 5 times. 2. Dig 30 Items with the Toy Hammer Shovel - Dig up any 30 items with the Toy Hammer Shovel equipped. The 15 items you dug up during the Noob challenge won’t count. | 6 Solo Creds |
| Master | Complete the following objective: 1. Defeat the Mole Burrower’s Dungeon - In Fox Town, go behind the Magnet Crates seller to find a new building called The Dungeon. Equip the Toy Hammer Shovel and enter the dungeon alone or with up to 4 players in your party to defeat the boss. You must complete the Noob and Pro challenges to unlock the Master challenge. If you haven’t completed the Pro challenge, you can’t enter The Dungeon. | 14 Solo Creds |
Once you’ve completed these challenges, you can replay them to get more Creds. However, the amount of Creds is reduced by half when replaying these challenges. So, if you were to replay the Noob challenge in Dig, you’ll only get 1 Solo Cred.
Dig The Takeover Roblox Event FAQs
No, you must use the Toy Hammer Shovel to enter the Dungeon and defeat the boss. If you try to use a different shovel, you won’t be able to enter the dungeon.
No, Creds are not shared if you create a party of players to complete the Dungeon challenge. Everyone will get 14 Solo Creds, even if someone doesn’t deal any damage to the boss.
If you’re progress of The Takeover challenges is not syncing, try changing your server by rejoining the game. You will have to close Roblox completely and restart the game if hopping servers doesn’t work.
