The Forge Third Island – Release Date, Enemies, Bosses

Is it just me, or did it suddenly get a bit cold in here?

The Forge has taken the Roblox world by storm thanks to its addictive gameplay loop, stylish visuals, strong level design, and enough content to keep players grinding for weeks. But the developers are already working on even more. In this guide, you’ll learn everything we currently know about The Forge’s Third Island, including new enemies, new bosses, new ores, the new biome, and, of course, when the new island is expected to be released.

The Forge Third Island - New Biome and Location

The developers behind the popular Roblox experience have officially confirmed that they are already working on The Forge’s Third Island. While we don’t yet know the name of the new location, we do know that the island is set in a brand-new biome, completely different from the previous two. Here’s everything we currently know about it, based on the developers’ sneak-peek images:

  • It’s a winter biome, with locations covered in snow and ice.
  • It will feature a brand-new hub with both new and returning NPCs.
  • It will include several new major questlines.
  • It will be populated with new, icy-themed enemy types.
  • The Third Island update will introduce at least a few new ore types, a new Pickaxe, new Traits, and more.
  • New boss fights!

New Enemy Types

The developers have shared several images showcasing new enemy models for The Forge’s Third Island. These enemies follow the island’s icy theme, appearing to be made of ice crystals and cold elemental energy.

So far, we’ve seen two enemy types: the Ice Crystal Bug and a Bigger Bug Enemy (likely a work-in-progress name for the large spider). And speaking of spiders, if you’re arachnophobic, don’t worry. The update will include an Arachnophobia Filter mode!

New Third Island Bosses

The Forge Third Island update will bring at least one new confirmed boss. We don’t yet know the boss’s name, stats, abilities, or drops, but we do have an image. The boss appears to be a horned skeleton wielding two chained weapons: a massive double axe (labrys) in each hand. Based on the image, we expect the boss to have a huge range thanks to the length of the chains, forcing you to constantly dodge long-distance chain-axe swings while trying to close the gap and fight him up close.

Third Island Release Date

The exact release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, so everything here is still speculation on my end. Based on the icy, winter-themed design of the Third Island, I expect the new update to arrive relatively soon - possibly even before the end of the year. My prediction is that The Forge Third Island update will be released either in late December or sometime in January 2026.

However, take this with a grain of salt, as nothing is official yet, and the developers have stated that they only began working on the new island in late November. Once the release date is officially announced, we’ll make sure to update this article.
