The North Pole represents the main hub for the Prospecting Christmas event, where you can find a new prospecting location, the event shop that's selling Christmas-themed items, as well as different sources of obtaining the Ornaments, which are the event currency. The easiest way to get there is:

  • Fast travel to the Fortune River waypoint, as it's the closest one to the North Pole portal.
  • Walk past the leaderboards and continue going downhill toward the Rubble Creek Deposits.
  • You'll see an elf standing next to some sleighs at the bottom. You can talk to him to see the Advent Calendar, but right next to him is a green-and-red portal that leads to the North Pole.
  • Just walk into it, and you will be teleported to the North Pole village.

If you're playing the game for the first time, you'll be spawned into Rubble Creek. After completing a few tutorial quests that give you your starting gear, you can get to the North Pole by just crossing the river that you've been prospecting from.

How to Get the Ornaments in Prospecting

The Ornaments are the event currency you'll need to purchase items from the event shop. You can get a limited amount of them each day, so it's very important that you log into the game daily and complete all of your objectives if you want to get everything that you can from the event-exclusive items. There are three ways to obtain these Ornaments, with those being:

  • Completing the daily toy orders - Each day, there will be five new orders waiting for you on the board next to the Manager Elf, that you can complete and gain money, shards, and ornaments as rewards. To fulfill the orders, you need to craft the required item of a specific quality or higher and turn it in when it's ready. They reset once a day by default, but you can also use Robux to reset them.
  • Doing the daily Advent Calendar mission - While you can complete missions from days you've skipped and claim its rewards, for the first 24 hours after an Advent Calendar mission is unlocked, there are bonus rewards that last only until the end of the day, with one of those rewards being the event Ornaments. These missions should be your priority after completing the daily toy orders.
  • Completing quests around the North Pole - While there's only one quest available right now, where you're tasked with finding 200 pieces of Candy Cane in the North Pole prospecting area, more quests will be added as the event goes on, so be on the lookout for those, as they give a lot of Ornaments as rewards.

All Prospecting Advent Calendar Rewards

Even though the Advent Calendar started at the beginning of December, because of the Christmas Event, it now gives even more rewards each day, but they're time-limited. Those limited rewards come in the form of Shards, Ornaments, and other event consumables. While you can retroactively do the missions for days you missed, you'll want to do these on the day they release, because you want as many Ornaments as you can get.

The mission requirements are different for each player, but for the most part, you'll need to collect a certain amount of a specific material, so you can complete these as you're doing other stuff. Just make sure to check what you need to collect so that you can prospect in the appropriate zone.

If you manage to complete all 31 days' worth of missions, you'll also receive a special reward that's yet to be revealed, so it will serve as a nice surprise before this year ends.
