While you might be familiar with the anime-inspired RPG setting of Arise Ragnarok Crossover, starting out can be a little confusing. That’s why we’ve put together this Arise Ragnarok Crossover beginner’s guide that will help you get started as soon as you spawn in. From getting your first piece of gear to starting quests and raiding dungeons, here’s everything you need to know.
How to Progress in Arise Ragnarok Crossover

Progression in Arise Ragnarok Crossover is locked with NPC quests. As you explore the map, you’ll see different NPCs walking around with different color triangles floating over their heads. Interact with these NPCs to see the quest they are offering. You can choose to accept or reject a quest. If you accept a quest, the same color icon will appear on your screen and lead you to the quest location.
The color of the icons indicates the difficulty of the quest and how much EXP you’ll earn by completing it. See the table below for more information:
| Quests | Difficulty | EXP Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Blue | Epic [Easy] | 1,000 EXP |
| Yellow | Legendary [Normal] | 3,000 EXP |
| Red | Mythic [Hard] | 5,000 EXP |
As a beginner, go after as many Blue quests as you can find to collect EXP and earn Stat Points. Once you get stronger, you can start raising Shadows to grow stronger and eventually move on to doing Yellow and Red quests. To Arise a Shadow, simply click on an enemy corpse three times.
One thing to keep in mind is that Arise Ragnarok Crossover has procedural generation. That means, as you get stronger, the enemies get stronger too. This can slow down progression, but makes it feel all the more rewarding.
Apart from quests, you can also raid Dungeons to earn EXP. Dungeons give the highest amount of EXP, but they’re also a lot harder to clear. Scroll down to learn more about Dungeons in Arise Ragnarok Crossover.
What Does Each Stat Do in Arise Ragnarok Crossover
As you complete quests and clear dungeons, you’ll earn EXP and level up. Each time you level up, you’ll earn Stat Points. On the left side of your screen, click on the Helmet icon to open your Stat Points allocation menu. This is where you can see all your character stats and allocate Stat Points to different attributes.
The table below lists all the stats and their effects:
| Stats | Effect | Recommended Class |
|---|---|---|
| STR - Strength | Increases the physical attack and skill damage of your character. | Warrior, Assassin |
| INT - Intelligence | Increases the effect of skill damage and heal skills. | Mage, Healer |
| SDW - Shadow | Increases Shadow damage and health. | Any |
| VIT - Vitality | Increases your HP. | Any |
| AGI - Agility | Increases your walk speed, unlocks double jump (200+), and reduces dash cooldown. | Any |
| MNA - Mana | Increases your Mana capacity. | Any |
Regardless of the class you choose, allocate points in AGI and VIT early so you can move around faster and survive the early game fight when you'll be considerably weak. Once you level up and become stronger, you can then focus on class-specific stats.

Here's a short summary of stats to prioritize for each class:
- Assassin: Strength > Mana > Vitality > Agility.
- Mage/Healer: Intelligence > Mana > Vitality > Agility.
- Warrior: Strength > Vitality > Mana > Agility.
- Tank: Vitality > Strength > Mana > Agility.
How to Get Weapons, Armor, and Artifacts in Arise Ragnarok Crossover

Your character skills and Shadows should carry you through early game content, but if you want to start clearing mid to late-game content, you’ll need Weapons, Armor, and Artifacts to create your preferred build. For that, you need to start playing Dungeons.
Along with 30,000 EXP, Dungeons also reward you with different Chests. These Chests can give you Weapons, pieces of Armor, and different Artifacts.
When you open a chest, there is a chance of getting a weapon, Armor, or Artifact of different rarities, tiers, and classes. If the weapon’s class doesn’t match your class, you can’t use it. For example, if you get a Mage weapon but you’re playing as an Assassin, you won’t be able to equip or use it.
Another way to get Weapons and Armor in Arise Ragnarok Crossover is to purchase them from the Guild Building.
How to Play Dungeons in Arise Ragnarok Crossover

If you want to progress quickly and get pieces of different equipment, you need to clear Dungeons. Dungeons spawn every 30 minutes in different locations across the map and remain open for 15 minutes before despawning. You can enter and play a dungeon as many times as you want before it despawns.
Enemies and bosses inside a Dungeon are a lot stronger than the quest enemies, which makes them a lot harder to clear solo. If you’re not strong enough, create a party with your friends to raid the dungeons and share the exploits afterward.
Where is the Guild Shop in Arise Ragnarok Crossover
The Guild Shop is inside the only building that you can enter in Arise Ragnarok. It's also the tallest building in the game and has the CL Games logo on the top. You can find this building near the spawn location of the Castle Infernal Dungeon.
Enter the building, take the lift, and go up. You'll find different NPCs on the floor. Talk to the Guild Store and ask to see his stock. He'll show you all the Weapons, Armor, and Chests that are currently purchaseable. If you have the money, you can buy whatever you want.
The Guild Shop stock refreshes every 30 minutes.
How to Level Up Weapons, Armor, and Shadows in Arise Ragnarok Crossover

If you want to make your Weapons, Shadows, or Armor stronger in Arise Ragnarok, you need to merge them at the Guild Building. Here's how everything works:
- Collect duplicate Weapons, Armor, or Shadows.
- Go to the Guild Building.
- Talk to the respective NPC (Weapon Merge, Armor Merge, or Shadow Merge).
- Select the weapon/armor/shadow that you want to level up and choose the duplicates that you want to merge.
- After selecting, you'll see how much money is required to merge. If you have that amount, click on the button to Merge.
You also see the final stats before merging by hovering over the final slot.
How to Earn Money in Arise Ragnarok Crossover

You'll need money to shop at the Guild Shop, but money is hard to come by in Arise Ragnarok Crossover because you won't get it for completing quests or clearing dungeons. Here are all the ways you can earn money in Arise Ragnarok Crossover:
- Sell Essence Stones: Different enemies will drop Essence Stones when defeated. Make sure to destroy (Press R) instead of Arise (Press E) to get Essence Stones. Sell those at the Guild Shop to earn money. 1 Essence Stone sells for 2 Coins.
- Sell Mana Crystals: When playing dungeons, certain rocks are highlighted. Mine these rocks to get Mana Crystals, which you can then sell at the Guild Shop for money. 1 Mana Crystal sells for 1 Coin.
- Sell Weapons & Armor: If you have extra weapons and armor in your inventory, you can sell those directly from the inventory menu in exchange for some money.
Arise Ragnarok Crossover FAQs
Currently, Arise Ragnarok Crossover has a 1,000 max level cap. Once you reach the cap, you can rank up (like rebirth).
To Rank Up, go to the Guild Building and go to the Rank Test room. Interact with the machine, and if you meet the requirements, you can Rank Up.
There are 6 ranks in Arise Ragnarok Crossover- E, D, C, B, A, and S. You start with E and move to D when you hit Level 1,000. After that, every time you hit Level 1,000, you’ll achieve a higher rank, eventually stopping at S.
Higher rank equals better Weapons, Armors, and Artefacts from Chests. When you reach A or B rank, you’ll have a higher chance of getting A or B tier drops from Chests.
At the stats, you'll only be able to equip and summon one Shadow at a time. But, as you level up, you'll unlock more equip slots for Shadows. Every time you reach 90 Levels, you'll unlock one Shadow equip slot. So, for example, you'll unlock the second Shadow slot when you hit level 90, the third slot at level 180, and so on.
