Bird Eggs are event-special eggs that can only be obtained by participating in the Hungry Birds event. To get Bird Eggs, you need to feed the birds flying in the centre of the map. Equip a food item and place it in the bird’s nest. A few minutes after you place food in the nest, the birds will consume it and give you a reward, including Gear Items and Bird Eggs.

You won’t get a Bird Egg every time you feed the pets. Once you do, go back to your garden and place it down to start the hatching process. A Bird Egg takes nearly 20 minutes to hatch.

You can get the Premium Bird Egg from the Shop for better drop chances of all Bird Egg Pets, except for Birb. The Premium Bird Egg also has a chance to hatch into the Rainbow Premium Bird Egg (1% Chance).

Grow a Garden FAQs

How long do the Hungry Birds take to feed in Grow a Garden?

Once you’ve fed the Hungry Birds and got your reward, you’ll be able to place the next food item instantly. However, the birds will only eat after a 3 to 5-minute cooldown.

Will feeding a specific fruit guarantee a Bird Egg?

No, feeding specific fruits to the Hungry Birds does not guarantee any certain reward. You could get a Bird Egg once and then get a Gear or Seed item the next time by feeding the same fruit/plant.

What is the best Bird Egg pet in Grow a Garden?

Birb is the best from the Bird Egg, but it has a very low chance of hatching. The Brown Owl is the next best option, especially since the XP gain increases as the Brown Owl ages.
