Patience is a virtue in Garden Horizons. While yes, you can harvest the plant as soon as it grows, I suggest you give it extra time. There will be a timer ticking above each crop and letting you know as soon as it's ready to be picked. I know you're eager to sell it, but if you wait until it's lush, the value can get up to 3 times higher than the unripe version of the plant. Another useful tip I can give you is to buy as many single-harvest seeds as you can, because their lush versions bring a lot of money.
