Bizarre Lineage is a smash hit game based on an anime called "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure". Anyone who has even just occasionally watched the anime will roughly know how the fighting style and the game in general works, but they certainly will not know that you can significantly speed up traveling around the map, making in-game life significantly faster and easier. Thankfully, the game has given players this opportunity by introducing the Skateboard. How to Get the Skateboard in Bizarre Lineage
The Skateboard is a very useful means of transportation in the in-game world. Acquiring it can be somewhat tricky, but it is well worth it, as you will simplify and speed up your travels within this vast world. While most of your long-distance travels will be done by bus, sometimes the positions of the bus stations will not be ideal, forcing you to take the rest of the journey on foot. Often, you will find yourself just wanting to explore the large areas of Morioh, and these are the times when riding the Skateboard will be most beneficial.
There are two main ways of acquiring the Skateboard within Bizarre Lineage, and we have got you covered on both of them.
Skateboard Acquisition Method 1
The first and arguably much easier way of getting the Skateboard is by crafting it. To do this, you will have to find an NPC called Gupta.
Gupta can be found in two locations. The first location you can find him is a store roughly 800 meters opposite from Jotaro and the starting area in general. You can identify this store by some level 18 red-uniformed Prisoner enemies that are hanging nearby. The second location is in the fortress in the very back of the Graveyard, at the first right-hand turn once you enter it. The graveyard itself can be accessed the easiest by taking the bus to station 18, and you will know you are nearby when you start encountering Cultist leaders, which are level 35.
Regardless of where you find Gupta, talk to him, and he will give you the option to craft the skateboard. Here are all of the items needed for doing this:
- x1 Leather
- x1 Fabric
- x3 Common Chest
- x1 Stand Arrow
Keep in mind that you can obtain these materials very easily by doing in-game quests. We thoroughly suggest either a couple of main storylines or a handful of gang-affiliated quests, as these should net you more than enough required items. Once you have collected everything that is needed, Gupta will craft the Plank Skateboard for you.
Skateboard Acquisition Method 2
If you cannot be bothered to find Gupta, collect the required materials, or are just really into PvP, you might want to consider this method. To get the skateboard this way, travel to bus stop 1 and head to the market area located just diagonally behind it. You will know you are at the right spot once you start spotting level 16 thieves hanging about.
Once you are there, look for a purple NPC called Zuleima. Talk to her and ask her to give you her skateboard; she will decline and initiate a quest. To complete the quest, you will have to defeat 5 players in PvP. The easiest way to do this is to hang out in some low-level starting areas and quickly dispatch anyone you see there. Once you have done this, return to Zuleima once more, and she will give you her plank skateboard.
How to Upgrade the Skateboard in Bizarre Lineage
Good job if you have managed to obtain the Plank Skateboard, but you can take it one step further and upgrade it into a regular Skateboard. We highly recommend this, and you should consider it as well, since the plank skateboard only goes 45 mph, while the regular skateboard lets you travel 55 mph, which is a considerable increase.
To do this, go to the NPC called Yuto Horigome. He should be easy to spot, as he is inside the Bizarre Gym, the large building in front of which Jotaro is hanging around. Talk to him, and he will give you the option to turn in your Plank Skateboard and some Gold Coins for the standard Skateboard. The Gold Coins in question can be acquired by opening Rare and Legendary chests, which you, in turn, get by completing quests later down the storyline. That's it, you have managed to obtain the Skateboard, the fastest traveling method in Bizarre Lineage.
How to Use the Skateboard in Bizarre Linage
Now that you have actually obtained the Skateboard, you must learn how to use it, and thankfully, the process is simple. Regardless of whether you have either the Plank or the standard Skateboard, it stays the same.
Firstly, open up your inventory by pressing M and clicking the golden chest button towards the left. Once inside, locate your skateboard in one of the slots, click on it, and select the "equip" option. Having done that, leave the inventory menu and simply toggle between riding and walking mode by pressing B on your keyboard. Enjoy your fast traveling!
Keep in mind that you can re-bind the button for toggling the skateboard on by visiting the key binds menu, which is located in the top left of your in-game screen, represented by a gear icon.
How to Get and Use the Skateboard in Bizarre Lineage FAQs
Gupta from Bizarre Lineage can be found in two locations. First is a general store 800 meters away from the spawn area, and second is inside the fortress at the back of the graveyard, bus station 18.
To ride the skateboard in Bizarre Lineage, make sure you equip it inside your inventory and simply press B.
To do PvP well inside Bizarre Lineage, you will have to get comfortable with all the moves you can do inside the game. If you have some PvP quests, you can always farm new players at low-level areas.
