Since many players have had the difficulty in even locating the Cursed Kraken, we have provided the detailed instructions. The Cursed Kraken Rift spawns every 30 minutes in between the islands located southwest from the South Urami Beach teleport portal. Keep in mind that you can only use this Portal only if you have travelled to this area at some point by foot. Traveling by portal will set you back 1500 Yen. Otherwise, if you are coming from the main area which is the Jujutsu Tech, you will have to take a very long walk through Sendai City and Shibuya to actually get there.

When coming to Shibuya, keep heading towards the western side of the city and start looking for a park area, which will slowly turn to to a full beach as the sandy patches start becoming more and more prevalent. Keep heading south and you will have reached the South Urami Beach Area.

Important information: in order to prevent always having to teleport to South Urami Beach, you can talk to an NPC called Nox, who is located right next to the South Urami Beach portal. He will give you an option to set a spawn point there, eliminating this hassle entirely.

How to Beat the Cursed Kraken in Kaizen

The Kraken in Kaizen will be extremely difficult to beat, and here are our top advices for doing so:

  • Play with your friends/team up with random players: As the kraken has a whopping 420.000 Health, whittling it down will be no easy feat. Doing this alone will be next to impossible, so we thoroughly suggest bringing 5-10 allies to help you in this endeavor.
  • Be at least level 230: Players who are not will have a ridiculously difficult time in fighting the Cursed Kraken as they will constantly be getting one-shot by his attacks.
  • Equip your best accessories: The best weapons and armor pieces you own are all but necessary, as only when using the very best will you stand a fighting chance against the Cursed Kraken.
  • Try rolling for the best possible clans: Some of the best clans you can have for this boss fight are the Gojo and Kashimo clans, as they provide the best perks and synergize well with some Cursed Techniques
  • Obtain the best possible Cursed Techniques: The best one we currently recommend is the Mythical Beast Amber cursed technique, as it deals massive amounts of damage and synergizes well with the Kashimo clan. King Curses is another great alternative.
  • Dodge the Kraken's attacks: While this comes as no surprise, there is one specific attack which is particularly bothersome. The Cursed Kraken will shoot massive projectiles at you even at long range, and he can repeat this attack many times. The best way to dodge it is by dashing away with Q, but always be wary of your energy reserves as you will have to do this several times in a row. The attack itself has a wide radius which which is represented by a red circle that spawns around you. Your reflexes will have to be sharp in order to avoid taking massive damage or even dying altogether.

The Cursed Kraken can drop several rewards, of which only one is always guaranteed, and those are the Kraken Scales. Other rewards include the Kraken Armor and Kraken Bracers, which have a 10% and 25% drop rates respectively.

You can use the Kraken Scales to craft the Kraken armor pieces, and you do this by visiting KRAKENNPC's shop, which is located on South Urami Beach, underneath a small cliff and very close to the teleportation portal. To craft the Kraken Armor, you will need to turn in 6 Kraken Scales, as well as additional 250.000 Yen. The bracers will set you back 4 Kraken Scales and 150.000 Yen.

Important informaton: In order to get the rewards from defeating the Kraken in Kaizen, you will need to have dealt it at least 10% of all damage. Failing to do so will result in the kill not being registered and you being left empty-handed.
